21 weeks with dc2 and thought this was supposed to be the time when i was raring to have sex but opposite is true. Just feel knackered and would rather go to bed with a book. It's a real effort and can't figure out why. Physically finding it hard to get aroused and mentally, don't feel that I fancy dh that much at the moment (although he is lovely). I wondered if others had the same thing as in 2nd trimester. We're definitely less touchy now than we were first time round, guess that's inevitable with a toddler. DH is up for it but doesn't make the first moves, think he's nervous to be rebuffed. I think we're doing ok on once a week but he wants more (in advance of the hiatus to come!).
Any advice?

Same here.

I was quite, ahem, randy during second trimester with first pg, but this time I have yet to experience that!

I am also putting it down to having a toddler around all day and general tiredness/pre-occupation.

There's still time though...

thanks nickytwotimes, glad to hear it's not just me. It's yet another pressure which of course doesn't help get you in the mood. I know I should just keep giving it a go and get into the swing of it but honestly, by the time you get dc off to bed, I just want to sit with my feet up...lazybones that i am. I'm just worried that this will be bad for our relationship.

I went off it for the whole of my pregnancy last time. And, since I was cut three times after delivery, didn't really fancy anything for a while afterwards either. Luckily, my DH was very understanding.
