Low pain when I walk/move around - will this go off?

I'm 15+2 and for the last 4 days I have had a real sense of heavy feeling and pressure right on my public bone.

It hurts when I walk and stand - not dreadfully but enough to be noticeable.

The Obs isn't concerned, she says it's just the womb rubbing against the pelvic bone and I'm not worried anything is wrong as it goes off when I sit down and isn't constant, I have no bleeding and feel fine in myself.

But will this go away when my bump "pops out" a bit? At the moment I don't really have a bump at all so think all is squishing in,but I would like to get back to my brisk walking for exercise but it's just too painful to do that.

Has anyone else had this?

I don't want to depress you but that's how my spd started. Hopefully when baby lifts up a bit it will feel a bit better. There is information about pelvic pain on www.pelvicpartnership.org.uk.Let's hope it's not spd and hope you feel better soon.

Well I actually spoke to the Obs again last night and she said it is likely to be "round ligament pain" which actually does fit with how it mainly hurts for me.

Fingers' crossed!

It actually seems to have eased a bit this morning so either I am getting used to it, or it was just going through a mini growth spurt...

I've had a similar feeling since about 25 weeks and find that sleeping with either my Dreamgenie or a pillow tucked under my knee helps. I sleep with the bottom leg straight and the top one bent and slightly over so the top hip isn't weighing down on the bottom one (the pillow helps with this too). That's the advice I got from my yoga teacher (who is also a qualified physio). I really worried that it was SPD and would get progressively worse. I'm now 38 weeks and have some days where I'm a bit sore and others that are fine. It certainly hasn't got worse though. Hope this helps and it gets better for you.
