Help!! I'm between 5 - 7 weeks pregnant with my first DC (not sure for def as not had my docs appointment yet) and i think i have a bit of a tummy bug - tmi coming up - past week i've had what seems like fairly standard constipation but now im really struggling with the complete opposite

I have to go to work in an hour or so and think i'm going to struggle if i cant sort it out. Cant call in sick as i'm a manager and no one to cover me but 9 hours of being stuck on the loo isnt ideal.. so does anyone know if i can take imdoium or similar or is that a no no so early on in pregnancy?
any natural remedies would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if you can take anything. Can you talk to a pharmacist or call your GP.

PS congrats!

I wouldn't take it but I'm not sure of offical advice.

If your body wants to get rid of something, maybe toxins, I wouldn't take medication to keep it in in pregnancy.

Is there no way you can ring in? you sound like you need to be at home.

Maybe eggs, tey are meant to bind you up!

Thanks for the advice and the congratulations. Will definately steer clear of the imodium. Thanks again
