am i pregnant??

Hi,

I don't know if anyone can help, I had a miscarriage around 9 weeks ago and had a erpc, which all went well.

I did a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago to see if my hormone levels had returend to normal there was a very faint line in the pregnancy box, I did another test yesterday and the line was very definate this time, are my hormones still up in the air from the miscariage or could i actually be pregnant again?

My husband and I have not been using any protection, cannot get into see the doctor till thursday!! so I am being very inpatient and seeing if anyone has had a similar experience??

I think it's possible you could be pregnant if you haven't been using protection. Could you get a clear blue digital which would give you an indication of when you might have conceived.

I've heard you're very fertile after a miscarraige. Have you had a period since?

Forgot to add, I had a mc at 9wks last October and a pregnancy test showed up negative 2wks after the mc so I'm sure the hormones would be out of your body by now.

thanks for your response no have not had a period since the miscarriage my periods are very few and far between at the best of times which is why i am questioning it so much, good idea though I think I will get a claer blue test.

I've just got a bfp and I can't get excited as I'm just waiting for another mc. It's emotionally very hard. I have joined the Nov antenatal thread though in a positive stance!

Four years ago I had a m/c on 23/12 and bfp on 14/2 - I think I'd had a period at end of Jan as well. He's 3 now! So yes, you could be pg - best wishes.

I can't help particularly with the hormone level question, but what I can tell you is that I got pregnant very quickly after miscarriage. Someone once told me that women are very fertile after miscarriage, but I have no idea if it is true. Good luck.

sorry waht is a bfp? there are lots of little phrases on here I don't know!

I am scared in case of another miscarriage and I don't even know for sure if I am pregnant! It is very hard, just went to get a claer blue test and the branch of boots didn't have one! typical! will go out again later......

i know what you mean!! you could test today and then test again in a week time and see if the line (if there is one) is the same or darker?

it was never meant to be this difficult!!

I think i will be testing either tonight or first thing tomorrow I do karate on Tuesday nights so would be better to find out before the class tonight, but don't want to feel the bitter disappointment of a BFN my heart broke when the BFN came after my mc, even tho it was just telling me the hormones were now out my system. Also petrified of being pg again as the fear of mc grows

God if TV shows were right we'd not be going through this hardship it should be as simple as they make it appear lol

I know exactly how you feel I am not even 100% sure I am pregnant and am still worrying about mc its so silly really, fingures crossed for you do let me know
