Well the title says it all really.
This is my 3rd pregnancy and I haven't experienced this before. They can be really painful, bad enough to make me cry out iykwim.
I also feel a lot of pressure 'down there'. More than I have at this stage in my previous pregnancies. It's almost like the feeling you get when you've 'dropped' but I haven't.
Has anyone else had this?
I'm now thinking I may have an early baby .

I had this but DD was one day late . It really bloody hurts doesnt it! Would stop me in my tracks.

I think it is just baby engaging and bobbing around on your cervix. I think its easier for them to bounce in and out with subsuquent pregnancies.

It could be coincidence (no idea) but DD was lying in an awkward position and I wonder if that caused the pain. Perhaps ask MW to see if she can work out how she is lying? DD was virtually back to back and not tucking her head. I have no idea if this is linked mind you

I have had pressure and twanging since about 32 weeks, he seems to just be sitting low. Not exactly painful though - have you mentioned it to the MW?

38 weeks now, so he isn't in a hurry.

Sounds similar to the pains Ive been getting - I am 36 weeks with DC2 and its been going on for a couple of weeks. I have to stop and stretch my arms upwards which looks strange in the supermarket (or wherever) but seems to relieve the pressure/ pain. DS was a bit early but I didnt get this pain. This one is more active though.
