Stomach pains at 31wks

For the past week or so I've been having pains under my bump, especially on the right side. The baby was v quiet last week so I went in and had a heart tracing. Baby was ok and I wasn't examined as I wasn't having pains while I was there. But they haven't gone away. I assume that the pains I have when walking about is normal ligament stretching but I get pains at night which wake me up. They start off as period type ache then become more painful before going away again. I've been having braxton hicks since week 20 and although these are becoming stronger and more uncomfortable the pains I'm experiencing are very different to BH.
Just wondering if it could be a few contractions - slow labour?
Seeing MW this week so will ask but wondered if you learned ladies had any suggestions?

I would call the MW and ask for a check over if you're having pains.
