Mild braxton hicks at 25 weeks?

I've been getting slightly uncomfortable tightness in my bump the last few days, which I'm guessing are braxton hicks.

Anyone else had them this early or should I be worrying?

its normal... don't worry. but speak to midwife if you are concerned....

I wasn't worrying yet, just wanted some reassurance as I didn't get anything till much much later with DS and I've been a bit stressed lately

will remember to tell the gp at my 25wk appointment this week.

Thanks!

I think it gets earlier in subsequent pregnancies. One of my friend got at 15 weeks in 3rd pregnancy....

I started having BH at 20 weeks and really worried about them especially when doctors and midwife said it was too early- however I'm now 30 weeks and they have got a little stronger but no more frequent. 10 weeks is a long time for preterm labour to develop so I'm hoping it might take another 10! Is this your first pregnancy? I know that they come earlier the more pregnancies you've had. Also could be to do with your size and overall tightness of bump . Get it checked out but try not to worry as I read on many websites that they can start around 20 weeks.

Yes I had them really early with dd2 - about 16 weeks. I think this is common in subsequent pregnancies, although everyone is different.
