Gas leak - harm to unborn baby

My friend is pregnant and thought she could smell gas in her home 5 days ago but nobody else smelt it so she didn't call anyone out about it, however yeaterday it smelt stronger so she called the gas people out and there was a bad leak so could the gas she must have breathed in for a few days hurt the baby

Natural gas is not poisonous (apparantly you can no longer kill yourself by putting your head in the oven). Your friend and her baby will be fine.
