When to tell people???

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and had some bleeding early on which panicked me but things seemed to have settled now (touching wood frantically!). At work I've had to tell people because of what I do but my other half is very reluctant to tell any family members because he says this is our time and also because I think he's worried in case it jinxes us!
It's becoming very difficult to keep it secret from my nearest and dearest and I'm starting to avoid people so I don't have to lie, particularly my Mum who I know will look at me and know straight away Any words of advice before I become a hermit????

Hello! I'm seven weeks too - but we've decided to tell immediate family (parents, sisters) just no one else yet. Completely understand about being a hermit - think it's easier to avoid seeing people than lieing really badly!

Had my first case on Friday in the pub and didn't know what to say when people asked why I wasn't drinking

New to all this and really nervous - feel I can't get too excited until I know it's all ok...

I'm 6 weeks preganant with my 4th and have told everybody.

Basically because I'm being so sick it would have been impossible to hide it from my workmates and children.

Because I have told people I am getting a lot of support through what even 4th time round is a very nervewracking time.

We told our parents at about 5-6 weeks. Had intended to wait until 12 week scan but I knew I couldn't wait that long and keep it a secret from them! Was really good to tell them.
I also told a friend at about 10.5 weeks cos I was going round to hers for dinner and wanted to make sure she didn't cook anything I wasn't supposed to eat!
Have the 12 week scan on Friday so providing that goes OK, we will tell others after that. Can't wait! Just trying to decide how to tell everyone now.
Will also tell work some time next week..
