Constant nudging in my ribs

As you can see from my post number, I am a newbie...but wondered if anyone else experienced the same constsant nudging in the ribs?
I am only 20 weeks, so although I feel the baby moving, surely this can't be the baby?? it's not that big is it - it is crippling just for a second or so at a time but probably 20-30 times a day.
I imagine it is pushing against something else which is pushing up into my ribs, but which organ is it pushing/kicking, anyone know?? It's driving me mad and everyone keeps telling me it can't be the baby cause baby is not big enough yet!

My baby is kicking me to bits and I am only 21 weeks, so yes, it can be the baby and yes, it can be 'uncomfortable'!

Mine tends to target the liver/right hand side of ribs and top of womb area. Woke me up at 4:30am and did not stop kicking until about, ooh, 7am the other morning!!

I definitely felt mine at 20 weeks and had a couple of sharp 'oh' moments, but it is better now I am more used to them.

However, I am still going to kill my hubby who keeps on wobbling my tummy, shouting wake up baby, just before I go to sleep!

ps - I thnk sharp pain my be it hitting a nerve? Mine went through a (mercifully) short phase of kicking directly down onto my cervix, which really did smart!
