cramps in my bum and all down my legs?? (34 weeks)

Any ideas?
I have this wierd cramp type pain all down my legs starting in my bum cheeks.
Not crippling but am hobbling round the house
Anyone?

I have had a lot of leg cramps in this pregnancy (am now 38 weeks) it is quite common apparently (joy!)... Flexing your feet and giving your legs a really good stretch against the cramp helped me - it is literally a pain in the a** though!

Popped into supermarket and an old lady of about 105 offered to help me carry my bags

could be siatica (sp.?) caused by baby pressing on your siatic nerves. i think that pain usually travels through your buttock and down your leg and i suffered most at the 31 - 36 week point.

if its really bad your mw can suggest some stronger painkillers that you can take to get you through.
