I'm 32 weeks and have thrown some stuff in, just to keep it all in one place really.

GuernseyFrench · 23/02/2010 12:50

My best advices (that I picked from other MNeters)

Arnica
Bag of prunes
Shower gel with a hook
Knickers which go up to the belly button

Hospital provided all the baby clothes/ nappies / feeding milk & bottles and all the maternity pads and disposables pants.

Sorry! I should have read properly your question! I blame the lack of sleep due to a 14 day old DS!!

I started mine at 30 weeks and repacked it about 34 weeks!

celebmum · 23/02/2010 12:58

I'm 32 weeks and am at the 'thinking about my hosp bag stage'.. not actually done anything more than write a half list of things i may, may not need? I've bought a few bits etc like a nightie.. and i did save some slippers that i got as an xmas pressie.. I am off work this week tho, so may finally get round to putting some things in a bag?

must find a bag first!!

Morloth · 23/02/2010 13:19

I am 37 weeks and hoping to tempt baby out early by being completely unorganised and prepared. Will pack at 39 weeks.

BellasYummyMummy · 23/02/2010 13:24

my first PG i packed it around 34 weeks, second PG i only packed it at 37 weeks. I told my friend not to bother packing hers til 36 weeks and she had the baby the week before so had nothing!!

i have 3 bags- one for the labour (small bag with sweets, hair grips, camera, etc)

one bag for after- nighties, towel, breast pads, maternity pads (not all hospitals provide these, mine didnt), arnica, slippers, dressing gown, cant remember what else

third bag for baby!- gro's, vests, cotton wool, nappies as again my hospital only provided some but as i was in for a few days they told me i would need to get DH to bring our own supply in.

cece · 23/02/2010 13:41

The first I packed at 35 weeks.

Subsequent ones, 37/38 weeks but I do cook them for a long time (babies not bags that is)

sheeplikessleep · 23/02/2010 13:49

Last time, mine wasn't packed at 36+5 when my waters broke (hence my DH frantically rushing around packing, with me calling out 'breast pads', 'maternity pads' etc at him).

I'm now 35 weeks and have mine pretty much sorted. I do need to write a list of things I will need to pack 'last minute' (i.e. toothbrush and deodorant type things).

I've just finished washing all of the baby clothes, so packing for ds2 this weekend

MummyTumble · 23/02/2010 15:23

I was going to pack mine around 34 weeks.....and went in for monitoring last week at 32 weeks with suspected early labour! SO i'm all packed and ready now!!!!!

Do it as soon as you want - if it's done it's done then.

xxkt1xx · 23/02/2010 16:35
