or is that old hat? I used the cds with dd and think they may have helped a little. I also pretty much cut out confectionary type sugar but not wheat. Birth went pretty well but I think second labours generally are easier.

Anyway if anyone wants to join me in cutting out wheat and choccies (bar one day a week yippee) that would be lovely x

Not expecting to be inundated by pregnant women wanting to give up yummy food though!

I read about this when first pg and, as a scientist, thought it sounded utter bollocks lacking in evidence-based foundations.

I stuffed toast, cake and crumpets throughout both pregnancies and had quick easy natural births with no drugs.

Stick with the choc, I say.

It does seem to be rather lacking in scientific studies to back the theory Mrs Badger. On the otherhand I ate an obscene amount of crumpets first time round and dont know if 'congestion' was to blame but ds did get stuck [confued] Certainly not promising that nobody on here seems to be doing it mnetters pretty good judge of what works.

Beyond envious of baby swimming out whilest you were dozing starlight ... exactly what type of chocolates did you eat whilest pregnant?
