Anyone Pregnant now that tested BFN at first?

Hi There,

I feel like an imposter as I'm not acctually pregnant... probably! I just posted on the conception thread too - but thought maybe would try on here... I'm 8 weeks past my last period and am still testing BFN... I have had a feeling like I'm going to start my AF for about 6 weeks now and feel a bit sick, but no other obvious symptoms...I have been to the GP and have been told I just need to wait a little longer before they can do any tests so to while away the time am doing a little web-searching... Has anyone had a similar experience and turned out to be pregnant? I'm usually really regular and had actually tested positive on an OPK 2 weeks into TTC...

Hi millymoo! How confusing for you. I guess you've tried different brands of pregnancy tests? Not that it would normally make a difference but might be worth a try. I tested negative the first week then had a feint positive the second week followed by a strong positive. I'm sorry, I don't think I can be of much help really, except to say hang in there! It's just going to be a waiting game by the sounds of things (sorry not what you need to hear...). Hope you find out soon xxx

I would request a HGC blood test that will tell you straight away!

Hi, with both my pregnancies I had false negatives for a couple of weeks - but that only took me to week 6.

Just remember, you can get a false negative but not a false positive.... Also....a faint positive line is a big fat POSITIVE! good luck

I have my blood test booked in for wednesday... fingers crossed I can join in here properly but if not hope to join you soon! wish me luck x

hello yes my first BFN is currently watching Peppa pig, and my second BFN is about 4 weeks off introducing him/herself to the world....
somehow they just never seem to really show up positive till further in, i don't know why?! and even then it was only clearblues that worked for me. I think i knew though, and DH was adament, both times.
Everything crossed for you. good luck. It'll happen for you at some point I'm sure

yes my bfn is having his morning nap!

didn't get bfp until about my 4th test
