Highlights In Pregnancy.

I am 5+3 weeks pregnant and was intending to have my hair highlighted tomorrow. Just had a thought that it might not be safe. Don't know why I think this but was wondering if anyone can advise?

Not an expert on the matter, but I had mines done when I was about 9 weeks. I told the hairdresser as soon as I went in, who said it was fine as the highlights don't go to the root, so don't touch your scalp. All was ok with me, but it's worth mentioning it to the hairdresser just in case ( I know they all use different products)

I asked my midwife about this since I get mine done every 6 weeks or so and she said it's perfectly fine.

I also looked in up online and apparently all the dyes in the EU have been changed since it was considered unsafe to use them so go for it!

i am a hairdresser, yep highlights r fine as dnt touch scalp, but mention it to stylist incase she normally uses a toner x
