And this is my 3rd

I can't really remember when I felt movements before, but am sure with DC2 I'd felt movement by this stage?

What is the normal range to feel movements?

I am on number 2 and didn't have any movement until 20 weeks.

ANy chance you can ask you mw to let you hear the heartbeat to reassure you?

NotesAndQueries · 18/02/2010 09:29

Am seeing mw on monday

Am not sure I am at the point of needing reassurance yet... am trying to stay all chilled and 3rd-time-pg about it

Just thought that being the 3rd I would feel it sooner
(Maybe I have already? Without realising)

I didn't feel movements until 24 weeks, sonographer said it was because the placenta was right at the front cushioning dd's kicks.

CherryPie3 · 18/02/2010 09:40

I'm also 17 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby and having the same thoughts. I thought I felt some kicks and wriggles at about 15 weeks but since then I've not had much in the way of movement, couple of nudges but I can't be 100% positive thats its baby.

Got a mw appointment today so will ask her to listen to the heartbeat.

Pregnant with my third, didn't feel any movements untill 20-22 weeks

mummyof2byapril · 18/02/2010 10:51

Also my placenta is at the front, maybe that's got something to do with it!

just think....those of us that are worrying now will be complaining in 10wks or so when we're feeling internally bruised from all the kicks and shuffles

NotesAndQueries · 18/02/2010 17:06

Emsie - with DC1 I'm pretty sure I didn't feel movement until around the time of my scan, which was 21 weeks

But DC2 was definitely, definitely earlier

Funnily enough, today I have felt a few things which I am sure isn't wins . Some tightenings and flutterings

So, lots due around early August then? Am sure I'll go over though, I did with the others

sweetkitty · 18/02/2010 18:55

Same here this is number 4 and with 2 and 3 I felt kicks very early on.

This one it was about 20 weeks before I felt anything, anterior placenta as well, he's kicking away great guns now though.
