Does anyone know if I should get time off work for medical appointments?

I know I should check this with my HR team. I seem to remember last time that employers have to give you time off to go to ante-natal appointments?

Does this include medical appointments directly related to the pregnancy? (Outside of the normal ante-natal appointments I mean).

Hello,

Yep, legally your employer must allow you time off for any medical appointments related to your pregnancy.

You are even entitled to take time off for Parenting classes.

Hi I was told by my local Citizen's Advice Bureau that you're entitled to time off work for all pregnancy related appointments, even if this means a hypnobirthing class, or aquanatal - it doesn't have to be a medical appointment. Hope that helps!

Thanks all - they were saying 'oh yes, just use your flexi' but I've put them right.
