MY DH has told me that he wants to go away for a sport event 20 days before I am due to give birth. It would mean an overnight stay so I would be on my own for two days. We are temporarily living in a foreign country and I am not fluent in the local language nor do I have any family near by. He seems utterly oblivious as to how selfish this is and has offered me his colleagues phone number should I need any help whilst he is away. Am I being unreasonable in asking him not to travel at this time. I am so mad, I think I need to let off steam.

I don't think so, especially as you are in another country. I think I would feel exactly the same.

I don't think it's crazy to not want your DH to be away overnight in the late stages of PG. Especially when you are in another country.

I agree with all of the above. Sometimes men just cannot see the bleeding obvious.
