Please help me i am 15 weeks pregnant - all fine so far had scan all normal. Its my 3rd pregnancy and i have never had pain before but since yesterday lunchtime i have had cramps in my stomach, both underneath and on top of small bump. Was referred to GP - checked me over and said just a waiting a game. I am not bleeding but the cramps are getting really painful. I went to a number two yesterday and the day before so dont think im constipated...could it be a stomach bug? has anyone ever experienced this before?
thanks

I was really constipated at different times during the pregnancy, at the end it was reall painful i asked my midwife and she told me to try the natural stuff, prunes, orange juice, fruit, but didnt help, water was the only thing i found that helped, i did ask if i could take pain killers for it and she said yes but if you are worried get a second opinion, hate to tell you this but my midwife also said she had to help some girls with their poo by pulling it out (I know CRINGE) but if you were like me and the pain was that bad i was about to try anything, in the end i managed to pass a few poops, nothing amazing, the worst thing for me was the iron tablets they put me on after i had our son, never again, i could not beleive i coudl produce something that colour and it took me ages to pass, in the end i took myself off them, naughty i know but couldnt do stitches, boob juice squirting everywhere, sleep dep and constipation all in one go, I tell you men havent got a clue but get a second opinion i woudl say!

Hello

I have had this too - cramps and pains. Am 18 weeks, and I think prob is due to constipation. After never having suffered in my life, am now struggling to pass... yeuch!

Been feeling like this for few days now, and bowel movements still slow, so think it is likely is just constipation.

Am eating lots of fruit. dried apricots etc etc. Nothing so far helping but remain in hope!

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi,I had similar pains at around 18 or 19 weeks. My midwife thought it was just ligament pains. The pains were getting worse on the next day so I went to the maternal assessment unit and they found out that I had a urinary tract infection and put me on antibiotics. All got better after a few days. Not sure if this is what's troubling you but it's always worth getting things checked out properly. Good luck!
