Promethazine Hydrochloride?

Hi,
I have been having terrible morning sickness and couldn't take it any more, so my doc has prescribed me Phenergon (Promethazine Hydochloride) - 1 per day.

I was just wondering if this is ok to stop and start - as I a not sure i want to take every day. i feel guilty taking it at all, as I have been told it is safe, but the risk is more than taking nothing.

I took it every single day between 9 and 38 weeks when DD was born and was fine. Of course, this doesn't put your mind at rest, but I just had to and so I did.

I would get your GPs opinion, TBH, although I wouldn't think this would be a problem.
