Hi all im 34 weeks with DS2 and have just started washing everything in sight, I have been resisting washing the baby clothes yet but couldnt resist any longer! When I was pg with DS1 I remember cleaning out all the kitchen cupboards & putting all the pots & pans in plastic tubs with lids, as just being in the cupboard wasnt good enough to keep them clean
What strange things did you find yourself doing which seemed perfectly reasonable at the time?

Well, apart from wanting to clean everything at the moment I can't stop baking . I just have the urge to bake batches and batches of flapjack and brownies and I don't even want to necessarily eat them myself!

I spent weeks making muffins, but unlike Dalrymps I think this had more to do with my desire to eat them.
I did put fruit to soak for a tea loaf the night I went into labour - by the time I came home with dd it was furry with mould...

I wish i could do washing- my machine has been broken for 2 weeks and baby is due in just over 2...!!! I have been going manic esp as i have a 20 month old DD!! luckily my friends have been great, but there are loads of things i want to wash like the covers on my sofas etc which i cant really justify taking round to their houses.

i have found vacuuming the walls very satisfying, and also wiping the dust off the skirting boards.

I imagine when my washing machine is fixed i will want to clean it too....!

yesterday i was looking for something in our cupboard under the stairs and ended up taking everything out, vacuuming the cupboard, then re-organising everything inside so it was tidy.

cleaning out my car and washing the outside, making sure its topped up with wiper fluid (normally couldnt care less!)... crikey i have been busy! no wonder i'm tired!
