I am now 15wks pg with baby number 2.

I had DD 2.3yrs ago by emcs.

I am having constant (quite painful) stretching pains. I guess it is because of the scar tissue, but i wondered if anyone else had this?

Bit worried that the scar won't stretch, just split (completely unfounded, just quite painful)

Does this help?

Erm... kind of, i have looked up info but was more looking for first hand experience from people iyswim?

It seems only medical facts or horror stories come up

I have an almost constant painful ache on the right side of my scar but on the inside iykwim, if I do something too quickly I get definite sharp pains on one side or the other again inside (I panic that it's the inner scars). I don't know if it's normal but I do worry sometimes...hopefully someone who's further along than us will see this thread

Yep. Lots. I asked the midwife about it and she said it was probably pressure on the scar or adhesions coming unstuck. Not a problem as it can happen at any time. She also said if the pain is not manageable with paracetamol - and I confess I haven't needed any - or rhythmical then see GP.

We have about the same gap between pregnancies.

Fantastic, sounds just the same, will relax a bit now.

Have had a couple of days when i have considered paracetamol, but not taken any yet. It is worse if i do lots of walking or sat in the car for too long.
