Could It Be Twins?

Hi,
I'm 10wks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I think my bump is far too big for 10 wks. I know second and third babies can show quicker but what within the first few weeks? Seriously right now i look like i'm 5 months pregnant.

I had a few extra pounds of me, but nothing like this, i need to shop for preg clothes right now, i feel so depressed lol.

My first scan is not due till march. I explained my concerns to midwife but she said just to wait till scan, the dates could also be wrong.

Any mums here feel same or experienced anything similar? I'm worried because i was thinking i couldn't cope with stress of 3 kids, but twins oh my gosh! I just want to know fast so i can mentally prepare myself, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

Buy twin insurance before the scan just in case!

I have no idea how much quicker you show with third babies - I am only on to my second. I am still waiting till my scan in 10 days before I believe there is anything in there. However, OH says if there is nothing in there he will have to have a word with me about who ate all the pies!

It's your third... your stomach muscles are shot.

Or, it could be twins. Or triplets.

oh i thght you said my stomach muscles were hotlol, yes they were getting there until i fell pregnant. But no regrets i did want another one, just shock when you find out.

Just that with both my 1st and second pregnancy i showed a tiny bump at 6months, before that nothing, so this is erm...new to put it lightly.

I am on my fourth pregnancy and found ot at my 12 wek scan, a wek ago, that I am having twins. I did feel different this time, I have been really sick with all my pregnancies, but this time I was off food as well. Also, my boobs were really sore this time, but not before. Oddly, my morning sickness is getting better already, whereas I was sick until about 22 weeks with my others.

I wasn't showing at all this time though, but have got huge in the last week! In my third pregnancy, I did show early. We went to Jamaica when I was 10 weeks and I was bigger than I am now! (I had a tummy tuck between 3rd and this pregnancy)

I am due around 8th August (well, I think, that will be 38 weeks, so is that right?) How about you? I am seeing the consultant on Tuesaday, so will know more then, I expect.

OP, I forgot to say, I also got really bad implantation pains with thsi pregnancy, which I didn't get with my others.

I'm on my 3rd and wondered the same.
Seemed to get a bump early, had bad implantation pain and bleeding (neither of which I've had before)and am also sicker than in the past.
However I had a dating scan and, huge relief, there is only 1 in there... although I have a haemoraging cyst on my ovary - which could be the cause of pain, bleeding and as its hormonal, the awful sickness.
Apparently its really common and will prob have gone by 12 weeks - only know as had an early internal scan.
