TMI - sorry but need help

Hi, have been itchy and now painful down below. Think its a bad case of thrush. Can't get docs appt till friday but driving me crazy. DP has gone out and got some vagisil but says do not use without consulting a doctor if preggers. Has anybody else used? any recommendations. Desperate!

Get Canesten pessary and cream - safe in pregnancy and will do the trick if it is thrush and not do any harm if it is not .
If you are no better in 24-48 hrs, go and see your GP.
I had this lots in my last pregnancy, but not this time round - v odd...

You can definitely use canesten when pg.

I suffered from thrush a lot and it got a lot better when I started only washing 'down below' with water and applying active greek yoghurt should get you through until you have seen the doctor. Try a yoghurt called 'Total' and keep yourself clean and dry, cotton knickers only!
