Hi everyone...

Went to hospital last night because of non stop cramps really low down for a few weeks...(maybe this is normal? But I panicked!)

I'm 5 weeks and they came back to me today with a HGC level of 1400....

She then said they'd like me to come back on Monday for a scan to see what my pain might be!?

Is that a very low level?
It was hard to tell if she was being positive or not...

Please could someone give me some advice I'm going crazy here :s

Try not to worry that is within the normal range for 5 weeks. HCG levels can vary dramatically - look at the chart here.

It sounds like your hospital is taking good care of you. Cramping is very common in early pregnancy. However, as I'm sure they have said, if the pain gets worse or you experience bowel problems, light headedness, shoulder pains etc go straight to A&E.

Hope everything goes well for you.

As Lubyloo said, you're well within normal limits. This site:

is also excellent.
