I have booked a day at a health spa with some friends and now there is a possibility I might be pregnant.

Is it OK to go to a health spa if so is there particular 'rooms' I should avoid??

I'm afraid it will be pretty restricted. I went on a spa weekend with my family at 4+2 (super early!). You can;t go in the steam rooms or saunas or ice rooms. You also can't go in the jacuzzi. The place I went to wouldn't let you have a massage or even a facial until after 12w. Infact they gave me a refund for the treatments as they misinformed me over the phone when I called them to ask!
Sorry...

mustn't use Sauna or Jacuzzi, and advise masseuse of your pregnancy as there are certain aromatherapy oils they will avoid.

Give the spa a call and get their advice too.

Have a lovely time

I went to a spa when I was just over 4 weeks pregnant. I didn't go in the steam room but did go in a jacuzzi (I think) and definitely had a massage. DS is now 6 and a bit

Ring and check to see if they offer pregancy pampering packages. Many spas do. You can't use the saunas or jacuzzis, although in Scandinavia they do!
