Hi all

I am coming up to 22 wks pg. I am a little concerned as just been to the loo and noticed my liner had a fair bit of staining on it (more than usual); mostly clear but slightly yellow around the edges of the mark.

It wasn't enought to soak through the thin liner but it has freaked me out a bit that it may be amniotic fluid. I havent felt a "gush" or anything like that.

Anyone experienced similar or have any advice?

i wouldnt worry too much sweetie but if you find yourself really stressing about it alot n really worried give you mw a call to put your mind at ease..
as long as baby is moving and your not in any pain it shouldnt be anything to worry about tho.

when is your next mw appointment??

One of the things that no one bothered to tell me about pregnancy was the vast amounts of secretions that seemed to ooze from every part of my body. I have never seen so much mucus as I did in the last few weeks of my last pregnancy.

I'm sure all is OK - but your midwife should be able to reassure you. Oh, and they have a little tester cotton wool bud type thing that they can rub on a soggy liner to see if it's amniotuc fluid.... so if you continue to have a problem take your soggy liner with you (am so glad I'm not a MW).

To this point I haven't really felt much movement, other than very occassional flutters, which i'm not worried about as my scan confirmed i have an anterior placenta. I am seeing the doc on thursday, and might try and wait it out until then

pregnancy is soo stressful!!

No worries.. I'm 17wks on thurs and have felt NO movements at all yet .. If your seeing your doc on Thurs id try and hold out.. During preg there is ALOT of discharge throughout which is annoying lol..
I agree with piprabbit if it happens again then take it to show ur doc and he/she'll advise you. If it does get A HUGE amount call ur MW as she should see you asap.

Try to relax if u decide to wait till thurs. I'm seein my MW in the morn due to a mess up with my blood tests.. Hopefully i'll get to hear a heartbeat then will relax myself lol
