You're not alone. Just had twins. My bikini days are done. I look like a tiger on my stomach.

Boobs, stomach, thighs, knees...

They do fade a lot.

I hope so.

Towards the end of my pregnancy with dd, my stretchmarks made me look like Freddy Kruger had attacked me. Bright red weals across my stomach, boobs, lower back and thighs. I seemed to get new ones daily at the very end.

DD is 2.8 now and they are white/silver and only visible close up. The skin is strange, almost like little valleys all over but nothing like it was when pregnant and just after birth.

And like I said, they stretched down to my knees!

I had horrendous stretchmarks from 9 weeks (seriously) with dd1. Tried all sorts of creams etc, but nothing worked. My sister who was pregnant alongside me (and had a 9lb13oz baby) didn't have a mark!!

A while after DD was born I took DD and my niece swimming and whilst getting change my lovely niece asked if the marks on my tummy were from DD scratching to get out!

This time, I also have stretchmarks over stretchmarks. Feel pregnant when DD was 10 months and the first lot were starting to fade really well! Now they just look angry that I've woke them again!

But I suppose can't complain, one healthy DD and another on the way! So it's all worth it!

boy, i can only laugh coz i've got them. was a size 10 when i had my first and she ripped me to shreds. 6 years later (size 16) i thought there would be enough room in my belly not to get any. boy was i wrong. but like its been said "its all worth it in the end";o)
