Horrid cold and cough - what can I take??

Is it paracetamol and that's it? Please say there's something more I can have that will help matters - I feel dreadful!

Hot lemon and honey? With paracetamol chaser?

Go to a chemist and ask them what's safe - I had a cough and cold and got a selection of sweets and syrups - nothing with much in the way of active ingredients, but they helped a bit. Also lie in the bath and the steam may help.

Poor you, I had this a couple of weeks ago. I felt dreadful and had a cough that as so bad that it made my bump hurt - as I was 33 weeks.

I phoned NHS direct and am sorry to say all they could recommend was paracetamol. I also used my sons Karvol. I also had lots of baths and tried to rest as much as possible.

Me Too - Has horrid cold for 2 weeks an dits just not shifting!! Paracetamol only although doc has said if I'm still as bad in another week they will think of antibiotics for sinus infection.
Had a very unpleasant weekend of tears snot and bed! Glad I'm not the only one
