I'm 30 weeks gone with no3 and was sat on the sofa earlier having frequent, painful but irregular BHs. Never had painful one's before, they were all in my lower back and bum. By the time I decided I should phone the midwife they had tailed off.

Baby is head down and I'm getting the stabbing cervix pains and pressure I got with the other two when they started to engage. Just wondering if the pain was normal?

Sounds fairly similar to what I have had in this pg.. My 4th.. they started about 33weeks he engaged at 36weeks then everytime i get them he seems to be engaging more and more he is now 3/5 engaged but i only have a week to go..

Have been getting quite painful ones tonight.. Going to see how they go.. hoping they will get regular and also hoping they might turn into something as i feel weird !!! Will have to see...

Good luck hun

Still having them, not as painful or regular as yesterday though.

Hope yours is the beginning of something. Think I better speak to my midwife tomorrow if mine continue like this, I certainly don't want mine to turn into anything yet!

Soory if this is a daft question, but how early can you get them, and what do they feel like?
I never had any Braxtons with my first.
But I am now 21 wks with 2nd ( got pregnant when number 1 was 10 mnths old), and every night from about 7pm, my bump goes really big, and solid. But it stays like that all night? Any ideas?
