First baby - when will i start to show?

Hi ladies i'm nearly 13 weeks and as i'm very slim my midwife said i would start to show earlier than most - however no matter how much i look in the mirror and analyse my tum there is absolutely nothing there so far!

Any ideas when i will start to look a little pregnant?!

Perhaps around 18 weeks? Then 25 for a proper bump? I know I went to first scan in normal jeans but was sick a lot and wasnt slim to start with...

I mean 20 week scan first time around...

My mum was very slim and didn't show until 6 months and only wore maternity wear because she'd made it and wanted to wear it!

I think it varies a lot from person to person. I am short, of average build and I showed a bit by 14 weeks

I'm slim (size 8) and I could tell myself by about 15/16wks but no-one else could notice any difference in clothes until I was about 20wks (and then I just looked a little bit fat and if you didn't know I was pg you certainly wouldn't have guessed) - I wore a normal fitted cocktail dress for a party at 23wks and you could hardly tell I was pg. I didn't actually have a bump as such until about 28wks and it never got very big

but as crazycrazy says everyone is different!

It's so frustrating waiting for your bump! I looked in the mirror every morning and even when I thought it was getting bigger, it seemed to reduce in size during the day! As annoying as it is, try to enjoy your flat tummy - I have finally 'popped' at 20 weeks and no matter how much I try, that bump is not going back in!

Just to say, enjoy being thin while you can because, when your bump is big and you are heaving it around, you will be thinking wistfully about your nice flat stomach! Good luck and enjoy it!

Other people have said to me to enjoy not having a bump while i can too but i'm pregnant so i was to look pregnant IYKWIM

i was 25 weeks before i looked pregnant..with my first..but i was a size 8/10 to start with.

im size 8 and showing now at almost 17 weeks, it suddenly popped out over the past week. Agree with others though that if you didnt know I was preg you wouldnt guess although many people who do know have started saying aw you have a little bump! Its nice to look it I must say but it does tend to be bigger in eve that in the morning.

I'm 15.5 weeks with my first and this week have a very definite bump, and it's not small either. It started to show basically from the 14 week mark. I have a slim colleague who is 20 weeks with her second and you can't really tell she is pregnant.

People at work ect have all been commenting that I'm really starting to show over the last couple of days and I'm finding it odd!
