Morning - so I am 20 weeks plus, and have mega blotchy skin, i first thought it was my blusher which i threw out, then thought it was my clinique stuff so havent used that for 2 weeks now and switched to irganic surge, but still have the red pots on my cheeks - my skin normally is tough as anything but am guessing pregnancy is taking its toll - any suggestions on non-bank-breaking products to use for the next few months that are ok for mega-sensitive skin? i have stopped wearing any sort of foundation and powder too, but spots are still there! never had spots before! i know it isnt the worst preg problem to have but i feel like its really noticeable....pls help!

I've had such bad skin ever since day one practically, with spots all down my neck and chest - nice!!!

My beautician said it's because my skin is SO sensitive just now, it reacts to things that normally were no problem.

So she told me to use just Dove Beauty Bar (I think it's called) for sensitive skin for two weeks, but stil continue to moisturise, and my face is looking a bit better after only three days...

is that just the normal soap then? might give that a try then!

I switched to using Dead Sea soap, it is really natural (I would guess more natural than dove beauty bar) and really reduced my skin itching.

When I've gone through bouts of highly sensitive skin in the past I've cleansed with either just luke warm (NOT HOT!!) water or with fragrance free baby wipes. For moisturiser I've used E45 lotion. E45 do bath oil, foaming bath wash, shampoo, hand and body wash, cleaning wipes, all sorts of stuff. I've always found their stuff very gentle. And reasonably priced!!
