We usually go snowboarding in Canada every Feb or Mar. I'm currently 14 weeks and feeling ok now but have decided not to go this year. Main reason is that I don't think I could truly relax & board normally - have boarded other years after damaging myself and I never board well when I'm trying to protect a bruised rib or arm. We'll put the money aside for a New York trip in March or for daycare in Canada next year...there will be plenty of great snow days next year, I'm sure..

maryz Yes, that's about what I figured! And, tbh, I'd rather fall skiing than riding (she's 17.2hh). A sports doctor told me that in the first trimester unless you actually were to fall and "pierce" the uterus you just cannot dislodge it - and that would be one heck of a freak accident!

weehector That's pretty much what we're doing - dreaming of 2011.
