Don't think anyone noticed though! Was walking to school for pickup and normally take a short cut which means stepping over a small fence (only knee high) and for some reason, I just tripped and fell while thankfully twisting on my side so I did'nt land on my belly. Have badly cut knees and grazed hands though. Had to grit my teeth and act normal as I did'nt want anyone to notice at the school.

Am only 15+3 but look about 6 months so will not using that route again!!

Could you use a sturdy stick/ branch to help your balance over the fence?

you are not alone bigmomma3!

yesterday my ds wails from the back of the car "i need a wee!!" and we are only just potty trained, so as soon as i can i pull into a roadside pull in so he can wee in the hedge .

as there were several cars parked i thought i would walk up the bank with him so he could go into the hedge. so we start to walk up and about halfway up i slip. land on my front and slide the whole way back down the bank.

so i pick myself up at the bottom completely covered in mud (im 36wks pg so not very dignified!)from head to toe!! while my DS happily has a wee and comes skipping back down toward me completely unconcerned.

soooo embarrassed - in full view of the dual carrigeway and at least 3 parked cars

I swear im more clumsy since becoming pregnant, im forever bumping into things and dropping things. In the last few weeks I have smashed two glasses & a bottle of vinegar on the kitchen floor (all seperate incidents) and I fell over feeding the guinea pigs outside at 10wks pregnant & broke my ankle in 3 places!

I am 26 weeks. Last week I was sitting in bed, reached down towards the floor at the side of the bed to retrieve a dropped tissue, overbalanced and tumbled sideways onto the floor in a comedy fashion.

I did a similar slow-motion sideways tumble out of a chair, in a professional context, when pregnant with DS and in that instance about 30 people turned to see and watched, hiding smiles, as I picked myself up.

Hope it helps to know you're not alone!
