Is there anything I can take other than lemon and honey or salt water gargles (yuk!)?

Couldn't sleep last night for blowing my nose and still breathing thru mouth today (off work and now turns out to be sicky day of the year - typical!!).

Paracetamol is fine - you can take the ususal recommended dose.

Sucky menthol sweet, steam inhalation, olbas oil, eucalyptus.

It's a drag, isn't it? I'm 22 weeks and was snot-tastic last week. I miss decongestants!

ooh thanks nicky, for some reason i thought olbas was on the never ending list of banned things! Off to inhale deeply...

steaming really really helped me before getting into bed, and i bought one of those vaorisers for children (plug in one) and put it at plug at foot of bed rather than one next to my headboard, and that helped loads too.
