Said it all in the title really, on my third baby, cant remember my son or daughter having hiccups quite like this, started about 4 weeks ago, she gets hiccups I'd say every other day now for about ten mins, just wondered if it was bad/good?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Ds2 used to get hiccups in the womb everyday from about 30ish weeks - he was also a very hiccupy baby from birth - ds1 never had them. I think it's a normal reaction to swallowing the fluid etc.

I used to get this a lot with DC3 - MW said it's fine, albeit a bit uncomfortable for you!

(Had forgotten the hiccups bit - I am only 28 weeks with DC4 so will have this to come I guess!)

It's fine - just means they are practising swallowing a lot.

dd was very hiccuppy in the womb and got hiccups quite a lot after birth too, usually when I was trying to settle her to sleep or give her a feed - most annoying!

sadly ds (who is still in utero, 36 weeks) seems to be the same. he gets them every night just when I am trying to go to sleep myself!
