Feeling lost and worried

Hi there everyone
I just found out I was pregnant last week. I suffer from PCOS so my periods are irregular and I'm not sure how far along I am but it is no longer than about 5 and a half weeks. I am having a scan on Thurs. I have no idea what to expect and feel totally lost. This is largely because I don't "feel" pregnant - I have no symptoms at all other than 3 positive tests and no period. No sickness, sore breasts or fatigue. I'm very worried that things aren't going right due to the lack of symptoms - has anyone got any advice at all? Thanks

Don't worry too much. I had no symptoms with either of my boys. I think my first symptom with DS1 was heartburn at about 28 weeks.

You don't have to feel those things to be having a healthy pregnancy.

Hi, Honeybee, congratulations!

I had no pregnancy symptoms until about 8 weeks pregnant, and then only really sensitive breasts, with DSs1 and 2. With DS3 I had a bit of morning nausea, much worse with DS4.
What I am trying to say is that every pregnancy is different and having no symptoms this early on means exactly nothing!

Good luck with your scan. If you are only around 6 weeks pregnant by the time they scan you they may not be able to see a fetal heart through your tummy wall and may suggest an internal scan which gives much better picture quality. It is a bit embarrassing but does not hurt in the least and nobody is going to look at your fanjo, only the screen !

V much hope you'll get the result you want.
