Sore bump in last few weeks

Hi all

I was just wondering whether anyone else had experieinced/ was experiencing a really sore bump in the late stages of pregnancy? I'm about 37 1/2 weeks now and apart from my bump dropping (hooray - I can EAT again!) it has become really sore and tender - it's mainly on the right hand side where baby's feet are and she has been wriggling like a mad thing so I am putting it down to her not having alot of space and so it's just hurting more than usual. That plus yet more stretching as the bump drops further...Last night I was so uncomfortable - I don't think it was BH, but I guess it could have been? so clueless....! I've got a m/w appt on Monday anyway when I'll mention it but I was just curious to find out if anyone else was feeling a bit like a punchbag?!

HI I can relate to this. It's my first time and my bump has dropped a bit, although MW says baby is at the brim. My belly button outed itself pretty early on, but now it's almost as if it will burst open. I have numb areas on my bump but tbh feel as if I am stretched to the max with much tenderness too! Am 38 +5 and am too feeling really really uncomfortable. Hoping baby makes an appearance soon.

Hi indigobarbie - thanks for this - funny how it's almost a relief to know other people have the same thing (even though you wouldn't wish the discomfort in them!). Getting to the same stage as you though, where I'm keen for the baby to be here - although the reality of having her "out in the open" still scares me silly....! Best of luck - not long to go.....x
