Hi, ive had a cough now for wks does it not effect baby wen im coughing??? she must be so mad moving about all the time!!! Any one else had long cough in this pregnancy??? xxxx

no, baby will be fine

i had an awful cough for the first 15 weeks of being pregnant and it hasnt harmed baby. midwife said baby is protected in the amniotic fluid, sneezing, coughing etc wont harm it so please dont worry. you might get belly ache from coughing alot though but thats normal

thanku 4 yr replies!!! the longer this cough goes on the more i think poor baby n hate it wen my belly goes a funny shape wen coughing!!! neva had a cough this long b4 got antibotics just incase bacterial as they say my chest is clear!! 32wks n def counting first thing gonna do is buy strong medicine wen baby arrives lol!! xxx
