When's sickness supposed to start?

Had awful MS last time I was pg, was never sick just felt like I had carsickness all day which eased off at about 14 weeks but never completely went. Made me really funny with food, I could tell what I would fancy eating from one day to the next, and it was all really stodgy stuff.

Am not even 6 weeks yet but starting to feel a bit ropey, like I don't fancy my breakfast/lunch whatever but if I don't eat it I start to feel funny. Isn't this a bit early for MS to be kicking in? I'd hoped I wouldn't get it this time as everyone has been saying all pregnancies are different, but feels like this might be it . It made me very grumpy and ropey last time,
I was so determined to be 'better' this time, and it's harder to imagine dealing with it with a toddler running around.

Mine always kicks in at about 5wks or so.

Fingers crossed for you that it's not so bad this time around.

I had none at all with ds1 and from about 5-6 wks with ds2.

Mine started very early both times.

It is the pits.

You can get medication if you are really bad with it.

Congrats btw.

I felt nauseous with dd even before I did a pregnancy test!

With ds it started at around 4/5 weeks.

Bumperlicious - I'm in exactly the same boat! I'm 5 weeks pregnant and waiting with bated breath for everything to start smelling disgusting and not to be able to go into the kitchen! Quite how that will work when I've now got a 20mo DD I'm not sure. So far, I feel okay. But I'm afraid any day now it's all going to change.

Fingers crossed we get lucky this time

Thanks all, not too bad at the moment, but getting flashes of nausea. Hadn't thought about nappies - eek!
