Threatened M/C

Hello,

Im just after some honest advise, I started to bleed tuesday night and was told to go straight to A&E, i was checked over and had an internal, i was told my Cervix was closed but its still not normal to bleed in PG, so a scan was booked for wednesday morn, i had this and i thought i was around 11 weeks, but measured 6+3 and all she could see was the sack nothing else. Refered to EPU and saw two DRs who didnt seem to worried, and i now have to wait for my next scan on the 8th.

Now im still bleeding not heavy its like im having a period, a few clots (sorry tmi) but nothing like ive had before no pain just the norm you get when having a period, ive had a previous m/c 06 before i fell PG with my DS, and that was awful.

And im not really sure what to think, im in the mindset that ive lost this PG, im ok about it, it obviously wasnt meant to be in that case, but what do you guys think??

It certainly sounds like am mmc, for which I am very sorry. I had one when I thought I was 11 weeks and started bleeding (just a little), had a scan and the sack was empty. Then I started to mc properly, though the whole experience was so mild and like a simple period that I found the entire experience hard to believe, as if I'd never been pg nor mc'd. Have had a healthy dd and ds since then, with no bleeding or problems. I am very sorry for what you're going through now and hope things will go better for you in the future. Take care of yourself.

Thank you ladies, ive meeting with the midwife tommorrow and she said we`ll chat about things, she said that she will try and get me a scan next week as shes not happy with htem just leaving me to "hang on" so to speak, im ok with it really, suprised at myself but i think its because i already ahve a healthy DS and this was just not meant to be, and tbh id rather MC now rather than alot later.
