Please help!! Advice REALLY needed!!!!!!!!

I hope some can help me.

LAst AF was 4/12/09 and got BFP on 2/1/10. I started to bleed around 6.30pm last night and attende the out of hours surgery. They done a pregnancy test which was positive but advised me to attend the Early Pregnancy Unit this morning.

I did and got an internal and external scan. They can see the sac and there is an outline of a baby measuring 4.3mm but they couldn't find a heartbeat. I;ve to go back next week for another scan but I'm all over the place worrying that I'm MC.

Has anyone else ever had something similar?

i didnt want to leave you unanswered, you have done all you can do and should!, if they say to go back next week then do and lets hope all is okay .
easier said then done but try not to worry as it wont do yourself any good.

a lot of pregnancies start out with the occasional bleeding, and I agree with what merryxmas said- you've done all you can, and basically all you can do now is wait for the scan next week...good luck!

I had a threatened mc with my first DC which involved quite a bit of bleeding over 1-2 days, even some clotting, then it stopped. I was further along than you are, so when I had a scan there was a heartbeat. It may simply be in your case that it's too early to see the heartbeat. If your bleeding stops, it may just be a threatened mc; if it continues, it may be for real. Wish for you that it's the former, and that everything progresses just fine. Take good care of yourself.

hi, i had the same thing with this pregnancy, i was 5/6 weeks and started to bleed, went for a scan and they said there was a sac but couldn't see anything else and to come back in 10 days... those 10 days seemed like the longest i will ever experience, we went back to find a little beating heart and according to the lady that did the scan it's not unusual for the heartbeat or fetal pole to be hidden until about 8/9 weeks and sometime later depending on the positioning. im now 26 weeks and continued to bleed on and off until i was about 16 weeks so please try not to worry although i know how hard that can be. there is hope and this by no means that your little bean isn't there!
