Morning Sickness has COME BACK!!!

am massively fed up.

25 weeks today and last two weeks have been gagging and retching and constant nausea feeling like I was in 6-18 weeks. I mean, come on I thought I'd seen the back of it! Nasty pregnancy joke I reckon.

Makes me feel so rotten and moany and tired.

Evenings are the worst as I have to eat as still got "always hungry syndrome", and if I don't eat a carb rich enormous meal I am hungry an hour later.

So I sidle up to the fridge debating what I can eat without feeling sick. Today - nothing. Apart weirdly from icecream in a cornet. Cooking for DH and DD is a nightmare, as after making their dinner, I just can't eat it myself.

Am flirting with a size 18 at the moment, so it's certainly not like I NEED to put on any more weight thank you very much, but I have to eat all the time otherwise I feel sick.

Oh pants, bl**dy hell, am SICK of this

think morning sickness is one of the WORST things about pregnancy, and for it to come back after I thought I'd seen the back of it!! [stamps swollen feet and goes to have a lie down]

Oh GOD! Poor you! This is my worst nightmare.

Are you sure it's the morning sickness back or could there be another cause?

tinylion · 28/01/2010 12:01

THought it might be a virus, but it just feels like morning sickness, the constant nausea. Rang up mwife and she was sympathetic adn said, yes, it is common for it to come back

nooooooooooooooooooooo

have meat balls to cook tonight for dh and dd tea (bleurgh) so will have to think nice thoughts to stop me feeling sick. I need a chef!!

oh poor you tinylion

think i remember you from the morning sickness threads back in october...

Totally sympathise... its grim isnt it? Im 29 weeks and my nausea never really went away though had eased off provided i kept eating. Its definitely worse again these last couple of weeks... only non gag inducing food for me at the mo, apart from fruit and jaffa cakes, is veg chilli (no i dont understand either!)

im so blardy hacked off... feeling like death for 6 whole months really sucks... but at least my DH does all the cooking. The kitchen is worst my nightmare...

meatballs blurrrrrrggghhhhhh... you are a saint

hope it eases off again for you very soon - keep counting the days

LuckyC · 29/01/2010 09:59

I also hope that this is just a phase and it goes away again for you. At least we know there is a definite cure...

Good luck.

Oh god, I dread this..... my morning sickness stopped around 19 weeks but the last week or so I've been feeling exhausted again, slightly nauseous and smells are starting to make me queasy again. I'm 25+5. I had been wondering whether it was possible that my morning sickness might be creeping back, then I saw this thread that it is possible!

Did your morning sickness return gradually or did you wake up one day and it was just 'back'?

addictedtofrazzles · 02/03/2010 12:34

Oh hell - I think mine has come back too...either that or I have a virus??? Am 24 weeks and was physically sick on Sunday and totally bedridden with exhaustion (I have a 17 mo toddler too!). Monday I felt fine and then today I feel like I have been hit by a bus...however DH is at work so no bed for me today!

This is rubbish and I sympathise with you all

Hi, Tinylion and everyone!

I sincerely hope you are all feeling better by now, but just in case you are not or anyone is suffering from bad sickness then I thought I'd post that a few of us have started up a support thread called HYPEREMESIS AWARENESS where everyone is currently suffering or has suffered in the past from bad morning sickness or Hyperemesis.

It's the thread that nobody wants to need, but just in case...
