I have a dental appointment on Friday, as I suspect that I may have dislodged a filling I'm slightly concerned about having a local anesthetic at 13 weeks - anyone had experience of this/any mumsenetting dentists on board?!

I had local at 14 weeks, dentist told me the 2nd trimester was the safest and best time to have any dental work done...

Just had a molar pulled last week at 23 weeks, and was fine. I was really scared but it was ok in the end. Dentist assured me that the risk to the baby from an infection of my broken tooth was higher than the risk of any complication from the anesthetic or the extraction.
