How long stay away after decorating?

Hello all - had our hallway and nursery decorated today and I am sleeping at my parents' tonight to stay away from any lingering fumes. Any ideas how long I need to stay away for...? The faint smell of paint seems to last for ages and I'm worried I'll be at parents' for weeks!!

Am I going over-the-top here?! Any advice welcome xx

yes, over the top. open the windows and maybe sleep on a different floor?

Im the one that actually did the decorating in our bedroom at 37 weeks!
shocked my DH as he was at work all day and had no idea I had done it!

Just air the room and it will be fine tomorrow easily.

Very over the top. It's only lead based paint you need to not use

Way over the top

Gosh, I've just spent the last two days decorating whilst DH is working away! I really wouldn't worry.

Depends how much the smell bothers you. I think after a couple of days airing it is safe but even when ot pregnant the smell used to make me nauseous.
