What does DAES mean on mat notes?

Hi

Just wondered what Daes means? The mw has recorded it under 'Lie' in my notes. She has already said that the baby is lying across, so is Daes another term for transverse?

Also, my fundal height is measuring a week larger than actual gestation. How accurate is this?!

Thanks
MLM

maybe crap writing and should say Trans?

fundal height - depends how pregnant you are. What did your midwife say when she measured you?

Thanks
Def says 'daes' and same last time too!

I'm 31+3 and measuring 32+3/4. MW said it's only a rough estimate. I'll worry about anything though!

well lie means which way up babe is so it should be long = longitudonal ie. cephallic or head down, or breech and bottom down.

fundal height thingy

anything within 2-3 cm difference is regarded as normal size - it does need to be measured against what you were last time and what you are next time.
