Hiya, sorry if there is already a thread about this, but couldn't find one.
I have had on/ off back pain for the past 3 years. However two weeks ago the pain was so bad, that I spent a week in bed, couldn't even get up to pee. I can now shuffle about, and slowly getting there.
Doctors wouldnt give me pain relief - except for paracetamol - which did bugger all, so stopped taking them. Also codeine, which did buger all, except make me vomit! so stopped taking them.
managed to get to my physio yesterday, who thinks that I have a slipped disk, which has now made my hip tilt to the left.
I am now 19wks.
My concern is - will it happen again, and what if I am in labour. Don't want to end up in hospital during the last few mnths of pregnancy!
Was wondering if this has happend to anyone else whilst pregnant? How did you cope without any pain relief, and did it' slip' out again later on in pregnancy.
Also, did anyone have the lob sided hip, due to this, and does it correct itself quickly ( don't fancy having a painfull hip whilst getting heavier, on top of the back thing)
The physo seems to think I will get better, and I will be ok giving birth?
Any resurance stories? Horror stories also welcome, as I need to be prepared I suppose!? lol
