Hi all I did a pregnancy test on the off chance yesterday without even missing a period (wasnt due on until later this week!) It was positive!!! Only tested as the hubby had been back for his rest and relaxation leave from Afghanistan for 10 days this month and I was gonna go on a bender yesterday but I didnt obviously! I am only around 3 to 4 weeks pregnant as the clearblue said I had concieved 1 - 2 weeks ago! I am now so nervous about doing anything! I am alrady experiencing mild stomach ache and I am worrying although reading past threads I shouldnt be!

Hello,

congratulations :-)

Unfortunetly all the worrying starts now, but it is all worth it.

mild tummy cramps are very normal i got them and also had streching pains in my side very worrying but i was told all was fine, which it was. you will have lot's of aches and pains, and i know you freak out with every little one, im ttc my 3rd so i'm sure i'll be on here with the same questions my self looking for reassurance.

:-)

I really feel like I shouldnt be getting too excited as it is so early! It's a nightmare not having hubby here as he went back to afghanistan last week and wont be back until the end of march! My sister told me to take it easy! How can I when i'm on my own with 2 dogs, 2 cats and a house to keep tidy I must remember to wear gloves while cleaning out the blumming litter tray!

I know, it's so scarey, but you do need to take care of your self take some pregnancy vitamins.

oh you poor thing what a nightmare the stress of your hubby not being there aswell.

have you got any family or friends that coukd give you a hand?

i know what you mean about not wnting to get to excited, you want to shout to everyone that you are pregnant but scared. maybe you could booka private early scan for reasurance, if you do it at 8 weeks they say that its 98% that everything will be ok from then on, maybe you will be able to relax a bit more then.

My family are at the other side of the country and with living a barracks if I tell one person it will get around like wildfire! Hubby being in a warzone really does not help. I have already got some pregnancy vits! I might have to look at the early scan!
