Hi guys

Am 7-8wks now but am feeling very anxious as in my 1st pregnancy I had hyperemesis from 6-42 weeks. This time I am sick if I have a cup of tea but only sometimes and the breast tenderness I had last week has gone. I am very tired but dont know if its just cause Ive not been doing much if that makes sense? Had some spotting but if I get early scan now (and everything was ok) I wouldnt get another until 20 weeks so am trying to hold out. Am really struggling with this.

Anyone else been like this and had a good outcome?

i've had virtually no symptoms and when i went for my 12 week scan i expected them to say i'd imagined it all. Now 23 weeks and just started to feel movement so feels more real now

Hi waitngforbedtime, every pregnancy is diffrent, really try not to worry, my first pregnancy i was so sick, 2nd one i just felt sick for a week and boobs didnt hurt or anything i too was very worried, i found myself prodding my boobs to hurt. and spent numerous times up the doctors saying i have pains etc, also which is rather embarresing was an obsessive knicker checker constantly checking to see if im bleeding.

All mummys to be worry unfortuently, im ttc my 3rd and having kittens already :-)

good luck

Morning sickness (constant nausea but not actually sick) in first pg (DD) 24 hours a day until 14 weeks with my first and then symptomless 2nd pregnancy.

With first pregnancy had scan at 7 weeks due to irregular periods, with 2nd pregnancy only symptom was BFP and no periods, was sure at 12 weeks scan it would be bad news but all was fine and DS now 3.5 years old.

Thanks guys, its good to hear.

Katy - are you me? That is so how I am feeling etc apart from not going to docs as no point I dont suppose, what will be will be.

Anyone else?!

I was going to put a thread on about this! - Would love to know if there really is a link between types of pregnancies and the gender of the baby.

Pregnancy #1 was absolutely symptomless apart from feeling a bit tired; had a boy. Pregnancy #2 was difficult with intense sickness and aches and pains; had a girl. Current pregnancy #3 follows the first one - virtually symptomless with only some tiredness and sore boobs.

What do you think?

Congratulations TheUnmentioned :) It's lovely to hear a happy ending!

I am almost entirely symptomless so far (only real symptom is tiredness but that could be explained away by anything). I'm 14+6 with my first and so far all seems well. I was also expecting to be told I'd made it up at scan, but the little thing was swimming around quite happily. Surreal.

Thanks ladies, this thread had cheered me a little, as I am 6+4 with #3 and am syptomless. I was very sick with DD and DS, but that was 10/12 years ago, maybe my age (35)? x

I had nothing except some breast tenderness and two days when I was bit sleepy. Same as Morph2, when I went for my 12 week scan last week I was convinced they would think I was a weirdo for making it up, but there it was, waving away. Perversely, I almost wanted sickness and the rest so I would feel more confident that it was happening. Even now I know I'm 13 weeks I'm still a bit shocked. I don't think I'll fully and confidently believe it 'til I feel it move! x

I'm not sure if this is just in London, but I had two early scans (5 and 7 weeks) because I had no idea of dates, and still got a 12 week scan and Nuchal test. If it will put your mind at rest then it might not be a bad idea, as long as you still get your 12 week one.

Good luck with everything! :)
