Going to be induced this afternoon! Help!

Have just been for another scan to review my levels of amniotic fluid and they have decided to induce this afternoon (am 39 +1)! Think I am all packed, but is there anything I might not have remembered given I might be there till Sunday/Monday?? This all feels a bit surreal!

Take snacks!

I was induced - first pessary at about 03.00 and baby born the same day - albeit not until 22.16. Still under 24 hours though!

It was fine. Take magazines. I drank loads of isotonic drinks - which made me throw up! I can't even stand the smell of them now!

Agree with magazines, your own pillow and nice snacks. Also your phone charger!

I took a yhatzee game with me when I was induced, me and dp played for hours.

Ooooh MoragG How Exciting!! Aslong as you have snacks for you and hubby/partner and drinks and a few clothes for baby (and nappies) and you. You'll be fine. I didn't use half of what I packed breast pads (too many), nappies(far too many), too many toiletries.

Don't forget your toothbrush and towel
